It was a lunch date to remember for Countrywide at this year’s ESTAS award ceremony, held at the Hilton Park Lane Hotel in London. TV property guru Phil Spencer presented the awards in front of an audience of 700 top estate and letting agents from across the UK.
The ESTAS awards, now celebrating their 11th year, are the only industry awards where the votes are purely from buyers, sellers and landlords. The awards, held annually, recognise the best offices throughout the UK for delivering outstanding customer service.
Customers are asked to vote for estate and letting agents based on their experience and the level of service that they received in 2013. Hundreds of agents across the UK participated and a mammoth 32,000 questionnaires were completed by customers during the competition period. The response alone made this the biggest consumer survey of its kind within the property industry.
Countrywide scooped 18 awards in total across both sales and lettings. For the 6th consecutive year Countrywide won the award for Best Large Chain (Sales) and also the award for Best Estate and Lettings Agency Chain which was a new category for this year.
