Cupid’s House Hunt – Part 1

They say home is where the heart is, so what better way to spend valentines night than snuggled up in the warm.  But first you need the perfect home in which to do so.

We’ve picked some of our favourite properties in which to get romantic.  Just one problem, there are so many of them that we’ve had to drip feed you in two instalments.  Let the loving begin….

Taking its influences from the Arts and Crafts movement, this is a magnificent property screams romance.  From the beautiful balcony, to the cosy bedroom fireplace, the oak panneling to the polished floors, this home typifies the character of the early 20th century and has retained every detail that made this romantic era so unique.

OK, it may not be the warmest time of the year, but snuggling up and staring at the stars in this beautifully ambient seating area in the centre of London would certainly get you in the mood for amour!  If its too cold outside, make your way to the romantic master bedroom, which opens onto a patio with an infinity fountain. It has a luxurious ensuite bathroom, tiled in marble, with a huge jacuzzi bath and fabulous shower.

Basement flats are rarely thought of as glamorous but this one has all the glamour and romance you could wish for. The wonderfully spacious master suite is approached via an opaque glass door.  Situated quietly to the rear of the building it has a wall of concertina folding glass doors leading onto the pefectly manicured garden and a fabulous ensuite.
