If you want to get moving consider Part-Exchange

In a property market that remains sluggish, everyone knows that finding a committed buyer can take time. If you want to move quickly choosing to part-exchange your property could prove a sensible option.

Selling a property can be a long process. Finding an interested buyer who has sold their current property, is in a position to make you an offer, and has all their finances in place, is every seller’s wish, but this doesn’t always happen. Property chains are a regular feature of the buying and selling process.

A property chain is a line of buyers and sellers linked through their property transactions. If one of these transactions fails, the entire chain is jeopardised and all the transactions could be held up or even fail entirely. This can prove frustrating and expensive. By opting to part-exchange your home you rminimise the chances of your purchase falling through, you are no longer reliant on your buyer’s moving circumstances, the transaction offers more certainty, and you can often move in within a shorter time frame.

The majority of properties offered through part-exchange schemes are new build, and as such, provide many of the intrinsic benefits that come with buying a brand new construction, such as; new build warranties, the opportunity to choose fixtures and fittings etc.

Hi Sherry, please could you tell me which area of North London? I’m not sure a budget of £200,000 would secure a North London property but I’m happy to have a look for you.
      thanks

Have been trying to sell a bungalow in a village near Lincoln for 8 months. Asking price ~150,000. Would like to p/ex but expect that seller would expect more added cash than I could raise.I am too old to take out a mortgage for the extra.
