Property of the week: Life’s a beach

Web definition: A beach hut (also known as a beach cabin or bathing box) is a small, usually wooden and often brightly coloured, box above the high tide (Wikipedia).

Have a spare few thousand floating around? Maybe a few hundred thousand? If so (and you like the beach of course), why not consider a beach hut.

Depending upon the location, you can own one privately or may be able to rent one from the local council or similar administrative body. On popular beaches, privately owned beach huts can command substantial prices due to their convenient location, out of all proportion to their size and amenity.

This week we bring you our favourite three beach huts.

This luxury beach hut with car parking space, sea front seating terrace, constructed in an enviable position on Shaldon beach front is on the market for £245,000. It has been recently constructed to an exceptional standard with top quality finishes to the shower room and fitted kitchen with granite work surfaces. Find out more.
Don’t want to live in your beach hut? Why not try a bike hire business. This hut is a lifestyle business with very low overheads, the business comes with a rolling 10 year lease at a rent of £430 per year. Yours for £27,000.  More information.
Can’t afford the above beach huts (like most of us of course). Why not consider this lovely hut on sale on the East Seafront in Essex. With a promenade and conveniently close cafe and enjoy a nice lunch before taking a leisurely stroll up to Clacton Pier for a fun filled afternoon. Yours for £6,000.
