Nearly 80,000 tenants registered with the Group in Q3 alone, and August saw the highest monthly total since records began.
Co-habitating couples under 35 years of age made up the largest proportion of tenants searching for a new rental home.
These statistics continue to indicate that the UK is experiencing a rental boom. Renting is fast becoming the norm and although levels of housing stock and finance availability is improving, it is still not enough to satisfy demand.
With record numbers of tenants looking for property there is a shortage of supply and would-be landlords are well placed to explore property investment opportunities. Similarly, many existing landlords could consider expanding their property portfolios.
All in all the statistics show that tenants have huge confidence in the Countrywide Group and their many associated brands including, Bairstow Eves, Dixons, Taylors, Gascoigne Pees, Hamptons and John D Wood.
